1993年よりNY在住、Pratt美術大学を卒業後、Desbrossess Galleryを経て、２００４年hpgrp GALLERY NEW YORK（アッシュ・ペー・フランスNY現地法人）開設に伴いギャラリーデレクターに就任。

２０１１−２０２２年アッシュ・ペー・フランスNY現地法人V Pとして、米国内でのギャラリー運営、店舗運営、日本向け新規開発ビジネスを行う。

PAHO gallery is a modern and contemporary art gallery owned and directed by Shuhei Yamatani. It was founded in Hiroshima in 2022. Shuhei Yamatani has moved to NYC in 1993 and graduated from Pratt Institute. He worked at H.P. France NY Inc as hpgrp gallery director and the vice president from 2004-2022.
